Hi all,'
I hope this is fun for you to keep up with. I have wanted to blog and now thanks to Amber I have figured it out and here I am. I hope to keep all posted on StampinUp and Heritage makers information as well as my personal life and that of my family's.
My family is working together for fun and the good for many. This month of October we have taken on a project to put together some boxes for the soldiers serving in Iraq. We have joined together on every Monday this month and have been putting things together in a couple of boxes to be donated to 2 separate battalions of soldiers. I work with the mother of a son and daughter in law in each of the battalions. She is mailing the boxes collected on the first of November and our collections will be with them. I am excited to do this for the young men and women serving in the armed forces there. I also am very proud of my family that have been able to help with us. Everyone who can have donated items but most have signed personal cards with notes of encouragement. We have handmade cards that I have designed and created for individual messages. I used and donated my StampinUp supplies for these cards and hope everyone will continue to work thru the last Monday, tomorrow, of the month to send messages to soldiers. I thank my family and all who have been able to help with projects and I want all of you to know that these things will make the men and women in Iraq's Christmas season happier and hopefully not as lonely.
I am proud of my work as a consultant for Heritage Makers online publishing. I have compiled several books and published them for gifts to my family. It is a wonderful way to use my digital photos for sharing with my family and friends. I love to help others with their needs as well - just ask me.
I have been an independent demonstrator for StampinUp! for over 6 years. I have many supplies and ideas to share. If anyone wants me to come to their home do share what I do and help friends/family thru a workshop just let me know. I have some fun ideas for seasonal or all occasion cards as well as scrapbooking pages. I would love to have you enjoy what I do as well.
Keep checking with this blog as I will let you know any new things I am doing, have done, have felt or want to do/share. I hope this is as fun as it feels.
Keep in touch and know that sharing makes our lives stronger and more meaningful and love is my reason for sharing.
